These terms apply to all sales, repairs, servicing, and contracts unless otherwise agreed in writing. By placing an order or accepting our work, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Payment Terms - Invoices are due 30 days from the date of issue - Retention of Title: All goods, parts, and equipment remain the legal property of Pro Lift Trucks Ltd until payment is received in full - Late payments will incur statutory interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, plus fixed compensation and recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998
2. Service, Repairs & Guarantees
We guarantee parts and workmanship against defects in materials or workmanship for 12 months unless stated on your invoice -
What is NOT covered: - Wear and tear, age‑related failure, or parts reaching the end of their natural life - Damage from misuse, incorrect operation, accidents, or external causes - Failure due to extreme weather, long shutdown periods, or lack of maintenance - Damage from unauthorised repairs or modifications - Loss of use, downtime, or indirect costs -
All work is tested and confirmed operational before our engineer leaves site - You must notify us of any concern in writing within 7 days of completion — after this, work is deemed fully accepted and payment is due
3. Delivery & Acceptance
Goods are considered delivered and accepted once handed over or left at your agreed location - No signature is required — retention and use of goods or equipment counts as full acceptance under the Sale of Goods Act 1979
